An unfortunate realization on this planet for many of us is the true underlying reality that most countries cannot support their citizens with the most basic necessities. Countries represented by poor and corrupt governments have only worsened and negatively affected their nationals, pushing them into downward spirals of distress, financial instability, and impossible dreams. This counts for two-thirds of the world’s population and is extremely saddening.
As a byproduct of this realization, Out of Sixteen was created. With exactly sixteen reasons and one product—socks—we embarked on an infinite journey to support people in a variety of challenging situations. Each new theme focuses on helping a different community, addressing their unique needs and struggles. While “bringing communities together” lies at the heart of our mission, each chapter contributes towards a global issue. Our hope is that by sharing these reasons, we can inspire others to create their own lists and take action in their own ways to contribute to a global effort of positive change.
